As communities begin to feel the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share with you the steps we’re taking at Athletic Testing Solutions (My-HeartCheck) to help protect the health and safety of our patients and medical team, which is always our top priority.
We’re closely monitoring local and national reports on the evolving impact of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and applicable public health agencies to make sure our current protocols exceed the standards considered appropriate for infection control.
We’ve added additional protocol, now disinfecting often-touched surfaces that are normally considered in the public domain outside our clinic. We’ve also implemented guidelines instructing our medical team who may develop symptoms, or come into contact with infected individuals to report it to us, stay home and follow all CDC instructions. In addition, we encourage everyone to follow the CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of the infection. We feel deeply for those who have been affected.
As we monitor the situation, we will communicate any date changes to scheduled screening events. Again, the health and safety of our patients and medical team are our top priority and we’re committed to doing our part to help keep everyone safe.
