For National Go Red For Women Day, the Strive for Life Foundation is honoring Molly Wiskur! Molly WiskurMolly was a 17 year old junior at Shawnee Mission South when her mom decided at the last minute to sign her up for a heart screening at an ATS HeartCheck clinic. Molly was a cheerleader, played soccer, ran track, and most of all had absolutely no signs or symptoms of heart disease. No one would have expected her echocardiogram to find that Molly had 2 holes in her heart and a cleft mitral valve that if had been left undiagnosed and untreated could have led to a fatal outcome for Molly. Shortly after the diagnosis, Molly had open-heart surgery to correct her issues and today is a thriving young woman finishing up her journalism degree at KU!

Join Molly in supporting Strive for Life’s mission by attending our Beats for Beats gala on February 22, 2020. Buy your tickets at .
